At our Community Council meeting last night, 12th September 2023, councillors were pleased to vote in support of the nomination received from Sue Muddeman to be co-opted to the Council to fill the vacancy left when Sally Thomas stood down after many years of service to the community.

Sue has lived in the community with her family for over 20 years, retiring recently after owning and running the Bay Bistro for the past 16 years. On accepting the new office, Sue said “I’m very much looking forward to giving more time and commitment to the Rhossili community as a whole, contributing to the village in a meaningful way.”

Welcoming her to the Council, Chair Ian Button said: “We are delighted that Sue is joining us and I would like to thank her for putting herself forward to serve the community as a councillor. I’m sure that Sue will make a lively and positive contribution to the Community Council and the various projects we are working on.”
