Get familiar with the site rules and learn about everyone’s responsibilities that will help us make the Hwb a valued resource and great experience for all.
We welcome interaction with the Hwb via login to the Noticeboard, Where to get help with, Announcements and to comment on individual blog posts. Your posts to the first two sections will be uploaded directly, posts to the Announcements feature may be checked by a site moderator before being uploaded. A few pointers to ensure that we can all get the most out of using the Hwb:
- Please don’t share your login details with anyone else.
- Note that any contact details in any posts will be visible to all.
- Be especially careful about uploading any potentially sensitive information. If you are uploading announcements (e.g. birth, death, funeral arrangements) please ensure you have permission to do so from the appropriate person (e.g. next of kin).
- You must not upload anyone else’s contact details without permission (unless it’s publicly available via a website as a business etc.).
- The Hwb team and Rhossili Community Council are not responsible for 3rd party content that is uploaded by others via their login credentials. Community members uploading information are responsible for the content and ensuring that the site’s ground rules are met.
- If you are looking to post to the Hwb, please use language that is respectful and inclusive.
- Please remember that the Hwb is owned by the community for the community. It has been created through significant volunteer effort and external funding. We really don’t expect any, but abuse will not be tolerated.
- We aim to continuously improve the site and its functionality and we welcome constructive feedback (see Getting in touch).
