Huge congratulations to Mali Jones who last weekend stole the show at the “Your Horse Live” competition at Stoneleigh Park Warwickshire, with her beautiful thoroughbred horse, 15-year-old Betheholyman (Joe to his friends)! Joe won the best plaited amateur class competing against horses from across the UK. Joe started life as a steeplechaser but was too slow to make any money on the track. He now lives in Rhossili and has found his true calling as a showing horse. Producing a horse at this level requires hours of hard work and dedication. Mali juggles this with her final year studies at Swansea University. Joe will be enjoying a few weeks off now, then spending the winter competing in dressage and going out for wet and windy hacks on Gower.
