The Swansea Council for Voluntary Services (SCVS) Dementia and Carers Support Project offers volunteer befriending services for people living with dementia and their carers. Volunteers are trained and supported to spend a couple of hours each week visiting someone living with dementia to provide a bit of social contact and support.
They have a growing number of people requiring support across the Gower area so are looking to target their volunteer recruitment around Gower villages.
