The Hwb team is saddened to note the death of Gill Wales, a very longstanding resident and pillar of St Mary’s Church, fondly remembered as the village’s Sunday School teacher. Gill’s funeral service will be on Thursday 12 June at 1pm in St Mary’s Church. Following the service, the family would like to welcome everyone to Rhossili Village Hall for refreshments.
Some of Gill’s friends in the village are helping with arrangements, and would be very grateful for small donations of savoury snacks or a few sandwiches for the buffet table on the day. Jo Higgins has arranged with the family to be at the hall on Wednesday afternoon from midday to 3pm and Thursday morning from 9am to 11am if anyone would like to drop anything off at the hall.
