Paviland Farm is a mixed family farm which can trace its history back to the 16th century. Its stunning cliff land, which is crossed by the Wales Coast Path, is conservation grazed with Welsh Black cattle; Lleyn sheep graze the fields and stubbles to add natural fertility to the soil; cereal and grass crops are grown to create animal feed and bedding which is sold across Wales (see www.gowergranary.co.uk); and a small market garden grows high quality vegetables for local people (see www.pavilandfarm.co.uk). The farm is on a journey towards low impact, climate friendly, regenerative farming methods, so creating natural, sustainable Welsh products, which support the wellbeing of both humans and animals, is now the next chapter in this Welsh farming story.
